Our servers mail configuration meets international standards and is setup to prevent bulk email being sent from the server, reject mail that contain virus's and from known spamming IP's/domains* which are listed at the following databases:

Some isp's are listed in these db's so if you find that your mail isn't getting delivered, there's good chance that the IP the sender is connected to at the time is blacklisted.
We recommend the use of your domain for sending mail if there appears to be any external problems.
Settings are mail.domain.com [domain.com is replaced with your own domain name] for sending and receiving mail.
*Spam that does arrive in your mail is not listed in these databases and requires submitting the email to one of them.
We take spam seriously, our office and all staff use Spamcop to report spammers.
This is very effective, we have seen hundreds of spammers removed from the internet in the past few years just by simply forwarding the email to Spamcop then clicking the link provided to alert the spammers hosts.

They will send an email to the address you enter, with your own spam address to use. You must then "Forward" the spam mail to the address Spamcop sent you, Spamcop will return your spam as links (second paragraph down) to send spam reports, click each link then scroll down the resulting web page to "submit reports"
Be sure that your website or email address is NOT checked as spammers will often disguise links using your details. That's it :)
If you pay Spamcop (very cheap) you will be helping to keep the service running, and reporting your own spam is much easier as a member.
Other ways of reducing spam are to NOT sign up with any bulk email plans (you will not make any money from them),
when signing up for anything on the net uncheck all boxes that want to send you third party offers,
try not to reveal your actual email address on the web, use [at] or - to replace the @ then email harvesters won't pick it up and add you to a million lists,
refrain from sending or forwarding emails with many to or cc addresses (use bcc) and/or with other peoples email addresses already in the body, like jokes that do the rounds gathering more and more emails in the body
